TITLE: AUTHORIZE THE RE-ADVERTISEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF PROPOSALS FOR VARIOUS LEGAL AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON FOR CY 2017

WHEREAS, on December 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., the Township of Jackson advertised for the receipt of proposals (RFP's) for various Legal and Professional Services for CY 2017 through a Fair and Open Process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq.; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place established for receipt of bids, no bids were received for the following professional services: Cell Tower Consultant and Planning Board Attorney; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place established for receipt of bids, the Township received one proposal for Special Legal Counsel and Board of Adjustment Traffic Engineer; and
WHEREAS, upon further review and consideration, Administration is seeking authorization to re-advertise for the receipt of proposals (RFP’s) for the following services which shall also include the advertisement and acceptance of RFP’s for Title Search Agency:
Cell Tower Consultant
Special Legal Counsel
Title Search Agency
Planning Board Attorney
Board of Adjustment Traffic Engineer
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey, as follows:
