TITLE: AUTHORIZE THE PREPARATION OF BID SPECIFICATIONS AND ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE RECEIPT OF SEALED BIDS FOR LEASING TOWNSHIP OWNED PROPERTY KNOWN AS BLOCK 10201, LOT 91 AND BLOCK 17302, LOTS 3, 30, 31 & 32 FOR A WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATION TOWER/FACILITY

WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson presently owns property located along W. Veterans Highway (known as Block 17302, Lots 3, 30, 31 & 32) and property near the vicinity of Mill Pond Road/off Leesville Road (known as Block 10201, Lot 91), on the Tax Map of the Township of Jackson; and

WHEREAS, said property is presently not needed for public use; and

WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40A:12-14 authorizes the lease of public property not needed for public use; and

WHEREAS, the Township desires to facilitate the construction and operation of a wireless telecommunication tower/facility on said property; and

WHEREAS, the Township Council desires to authorize the Township Administrator and the Purchasing Agent to prepare bid specifications for the lease of Township owned property located along W. Veterans Highway (known as Block 17302, Lots
