WHEREAS, pursuant to the “Uniform Shared Services and Consolidation Act”, P.L. 2007, c.63 (N.J.S.A. 40A:65-1 et. Seq.), local units, as defined in the Act, are authorized to enter into joint agreements for the provision of governmental services; and
WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson wishes to enter into an Agreement (a copy of which is annexed hereto) with the County of Ocean for the purpose of setting forth the terms and conditions regarding the assignment of CPS Technicians employed by the Township of Jackson to be the Child Restraint Group.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:
The Mayor is authorized to execute and the Clerk to attest to the Shared Services Agreement for the designation of CPS Technicians assigned to the FY 2018 Child Restraint Program Grant.
A copy of said Agreement will be kept on file within the Office of the County Clerk of the Board and the Township Clerk’s Office.
The term of said agreement shall be retroactive from October 1, 2017 and shall continue in full force until September 30, 2018.
Certified copies of this resolution shall be forwarded to the Office of the Ocean County Sheriff, Municipal Administrator, CFO, Chief of Police, Purchasing Agent, Personnel Department and any other interested parties.

RESOLUTION 10/7/18 TITLE: CONSENT TO THE APPOINTMENT OF ADDITIONAL MEMBERS TO THE RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD

WHEREAS, there is a need to appointment additional members to the Recreation Advisory Board; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, with the advice and consent of Council, is authorized to make said appointments pursuant to Chapter 3-133.1 of the Administrative Code of the Township of Jackson; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor desires to make appointments to this Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey as follows:
1. That pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:69A-36(B), the Township Council does hereby consent to the appointment of the following individuals to the Recreation Advisory Board for a term commencing immediately and ending December 31, 2018:
Member Steve Dubiago Organization Holbrook Little League (to fill the unexpired term of Tony DelVecchio)
Alternate Dave Citron Organization Holbrook Little League
