WHEREAS, on February 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., the Township of Jackson advertised for the receipt of proposals (RFP's) for Title Search Services for 2018 through a Fair and Open Process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq.; and

WHEREAS, at the time and place established for receipt of bids, no bids were received for this Professional Services Contract known as Title Search Agency; and

WHEREAS, upon further review and consideration, Administration is seeking authorization to re-advertise for the receipt of proposals (RFP’s) for this Professional Services Contract known as Title Search Agency for CY 2018.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey, as follows:

  1. That the Township Council does hereby authorize the re-advertisement and acceptance of proposals through a Fair and Open Process pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq. for Title Search Agency for CY 2018.
  2. That after the date and time for the receipt of sealed proposals has been determined; a Notice for the Solicitation of Professional Services shall be advertised as prescribed by law.
  3. A copy of this resolution shall be forwarded to the Municipal Administrator, Purchasing Department and any other interested parties.
