COUNCIL PRESIDENT BRESSI – take a second to reflect on all our past, current and future veterans who give us the ability to attend these meetings. The veterans who give the supreme sacrifice and their families who must live without them. Keep in mind the shooting that occurred in Florida and the lives that perished.

JYFC CHEER SQUADS- Mayor Michael Reina congratulated the cheer squads and read the roster of our 2017 Undefeated National Champions in Division 8,10, and 14.
(Presentations ended at 7:50pm – Council President called a 10 minute recess)
COUNCILMAN CALOGERO – thanked residents and thanked the JYFC Cheer Squads for their accomplishments and acknowledged that Jackson’s youth make the Township shine. We need to appreciate coaches and their parents for our great success. With the extreme weather we are experiencing our roads have numerous potholes. The Department of Public Works is working diligently filling potholes throughout Jackson but are requesting the resident’s help in reporting them. Please contact the Public Works Department at (732) 92801200 Ext. 1250 (if it is a Township road) and if it is a County road please contact the County directly at (732) 929-2133.
COUNCILMAN MARTIN – thanked residents for attending the meeting and stated that the Jackson Football and Cheer (again) show why they are the envy of New Jersey and the country. The coaches and the parents are part of the success that our children have. They deserve all the acknowledgments they are receiving because they represent Jackson well.
COUNCILWOMAN UPDEGRAVE – congratulated the cheer squad and acknowledged that our children always make us proud.
COUNCIL V.P. NIXON- congratulated the cheer squad because these young men and woman represent us well. Thanked the coaches and the volunteers who guide them to excellence.
COUNCIL PRESIDENT BRESSI – congratulated all the cheer groups, coaches, and volunteers in our town who take their time to participate and make this town successful.
MAYOR MICHAEL REINA- echoed comments made by the Council.
