Comment Cllrs noted their previous response to the creation of an EV charging zone (and associated works) and were satisfied that the reconfigured layout, along with the addition of an EV canopy, would be suitably in keeping with the approved scheme.In line with Newquay Neighbourhood Plan policy G2(e), the applicant is encouraged to explore reasonable opportunities to incorporate high levels of environmental sustainability, with particular attention being given to the inclusion of renewable energy sources in the overall design.
Members noted disappointment that they weren't consulted on the recent premises licence application - 8.iii LA03 Killacourt Premises Licence
The officer informed members that the next Full Council meeting will be in December.
Cllr J Kenny reminded members about an upcoming training session available to councillors regarding the scheme of delegation.

RESOLVED unanimously to recommend to Full Council that Newquay Town Council adopt the PROTOCOL FOR INFORMAL CONSULTATION ON TOWN COUNCIL PLANNING AND PREMISES LICENCE PROPOSALS, and that the Planning & Licensing Committee's current Terms of Reference are amended accordingly.
