TOWNSHIP CLERK ORDINANCES, FIRST READING: NONE AT THIS TIME. ## PUBLIC COMMENT OPENED, RESOLUTIONS ONLY SHARI WILLIAMS – 4 COLUMBINE DRIVE – Regarding 386R-14, there’s more than 6 violations in the park that should be addressed before their license is renewed. We still have not gotten any of the broken down trailers in the park cleaned up. Within 20 feet of our well head is rotting equipment, trucks and old tanks. The oil tanks that were removed out of the ground in the last 2 weeks were crushed and put in the back of the property and not hauled away. Our green space has been dumped with equipment; it’s not accessible or safe. ELEANOR HANNUM – 7 EVERGREEN COURT – Regarding 392R-14, is JR Custom Landscaping included in this contract? Council President Nixon stated no, their contract is ===== PAGE 8 ===== not being continued. Administrator Schlegel stated the contract is with A&M Harrison and Galloway Enterprises; JR Custom Landscaping, Bil-Jim Construction and Monte Contracting have not been extended/renewed. GARY MILLER – 48 BOXWOOD DRIVE – Regarding Fountainhead’s license, they have been licensed as an adult park; a term which the State did away with many years ago. The State recognizes family and senior parks and Fountainhead advertises themselves as a senior park. Their sign clearly states senior community, 55 and over. They should have to conform to our code 280-12e, which requires them to have a structure for seniors to meet and convene. They are afraid of an organization that would be formed against anything they do at the park. ## MOTION TO CLOSE COMMENT RESOLUTIONS ONLY BY: CALOGERO MOTION SECONDED BY: UPDEGRAVE YES: BRESSI, MARTIN, UPDEGRAVE, CALOGERO, NIXON DISCUSSION: Councilman Martin proposed removing Resolution 386R-14 from the agenda to review the violations and place it on the 2nd meeting in January. Tentative CY 2015 Council meeting dates – Clerk Eden stated she provided Council with tentative dates for CY 2015. There are no conflicts with the League of Municipalities or holidays. If there are no changes, a resolution will be prepared for their consideration at the January 5th Reorganization meeting. Councilman Martin asked since we’re Re-organizing on the 5th, why are we doing a meeting on the 13th and again on the 27th? We can do a bill list at the Reorganization. Township Clerk Eden stated you will have a bill list (on 1/5) and it will be a large list since you’re holding only one meeting in December. Administration stated there is nothing pressing to warrant a meeting on the 13th. Township Clerk Eden stated Council wanted to schedule the Six Flags Solar Field ordinance in January, as there are time constraints. Attorney Cipriani stated why can’t it be considered on the 5th? Township Clerk Eden stated normally Council doesn’t consider that type of ===== PAGE 27 ===== business during a Reorganization meeting. Attorney Cipriani stated it would be up to Council. Council requested that the Six Flags ordinance be placed on the January 5th agenda (for their consideration) and decided not to hold a meeting on January 13. The 2nd meeting of the Council in January will be the 27th and all other dates are acceptable. A resolution will be prepared for the Reorganization Meeting establishing Council's CY 2015 meeting dates. ## PUBLIC COMMENT, ANY TOPIC GARY MILLER – 48 BOXWOOD DRIVE – Toyland was marvelous and the young volunteers did a great job. SHARI WILLIAMS – 4 COLUMBINE DRIVE – Even though the residents don’t have a proper meeting place at Fountainhead, we manage to do yearly yard sales and a bake sale. The proceeds usually go into the homeowner’s association. Our last bake sale proceeds were donated to the Jackson Women of Today’s food bank and Shoprite supplemented us with a $25 gift card. ## MOTION TO CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING ON ANY TOPIC BY: MARTIN MOTION SECONDED BY: CALOGERO YES: BRESSI, MARTIN, UPDEGRAVE, CALOGERO, NIXON MOTION TO ADJOURN BY: CALOGERO MOTION SECONDED BY: MARTIN YES: BRESSI, MARTIN, UPDEGRAVE, CALOGERO, NIXON ### 7 :56 P.M ## RESPECTFULLY SUBMITTED, ## COUNCIL PRESIDENT NIXON ANN MARIE EDEN, R.M.C.
