WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson has been provided additional funds from the State of NJ, Department of Law and Public Safety, Division of Highway Traffic Safety in the amount of $7,500.00; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor and Township Council of the Township of Jackson, request the Director of the Division of Local Government Services to approve the insertion of this amount as revenue with an offsetting appropriation.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey, as follows:

  1. That the Mayor and Township Council do hereby request an amendment to the 2014 Budget to provide the insertion of a special item of revenue in the amount of $7,500.00 by the Director of the Division of Local Government Services, which is now available as a revenue from:
  2. Miscellaneous Revenue: (Special Item of general revenue anticipated with prior written consent of the Director of Local Government Services)
  3. State of NJ, Department of Law and Public Safety, Division of Highway Traffic Safety Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over 2014 Y/E Statewide Crackdown $7,500.00
  4. That the Mayor and Township Council do hereby further request an appropriation of an equal sum under the caption of:
  5. General Appropriations: (operations excluded from CAP)
  6. State of NJ, Department of Law and Public Safety, Division of Highway Traffic Safety Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over 2014 Y/E Statewide Crackdown
  7. $7,500.00
  8. That two certified copies of the resolution shall be forwarded to the Township Auditor and the Chief Financial Officer.

WHEREAS, Diamond Developers has requested the release of the following Maintenance Bond pertaining to North Branch Estates Detention Basin, Block 40, Lot 41, Jackson Township in the amount of $24,632.06; and

WHEREAS, Raymond Savacool of T&M Associates, Township Engineer, has reviewed and approved the release of said maintenance guarantee in letter report dated November 5, 2014, which letter report is made a part hereof; and

WHEREAS, the Township Council of the Township of Jackson has considered the application and the report of the Engineer;
