B. General Comments
Engineer Review and Development Proposal- As noted above, the site plan development is consistent with the prior Board approval associated with 3 private schools with the exception of the 3 individual lots to be created and the cross access easements will be required.
The applicant should confirm that all prior representation associated with the prior approval will be met.
Utilities- The drawings indicate that sewer service will be provided by a private on-site septic systems and individual wells. A fire suppression well and 40,000-gallon cistern are also proposed, consistent with the prior approval. Any approval which may be granted would be conditioned upon approval from the Jackson Township Municipal Utility Authority and applicable regulatory agencies.
The applicant should confirm all Bureau of Fire Safety comments associated with the amended application will be addressed.
Environmental Considerations
Individual wells and septic systems are not typically provided with school development. The applicant should address ground water impact concerns associated with the proposed septic systems and individual well(s) which are proposed. Specifically:
Anticipated wastewater flows
Proposals for potable water service including irrigation. What is the anticipated pumping capacity of the proposed well(s) and will they continuously supply the fire protection cistern?
