4.0 ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE CONTROLS

As discussed in the previous sections, various measures have been taken in design preparation to avoid or minimize potential adverse environmental impacts. These measures are specifically addressed for individual resource items (i.e., water quality).

In general, the following steps have been taken in order to avoid or minimize adverse environmental impacts:

  1. Proper measures for control of soil erosion and sedimentation will be provided in accordance with The Standards for Soil Erosion and Sediment Control in New Jersey.
  2. Construction of an overall stormwater management system is proposed in accordance with the NJ Stormwater Management Rules and Green Infrastructure Standards contained therein. The overall system will promote groundwater recharge, and provide qualitative and quantitative controls.
  3. Low flow plumbing fixtures will be utilized in accordance with local building codes.

As stated above, details of these steps are provided within the previous section.
