g. Solid Waste Disposal

Solid waste generated during construction shall be converted to mulch or firewood for reuse, as appropriate. Solid waste generated by the project will be collected and disposed of in a manner consistent with local ordinances and the Ocean County Recycling Plan.

  • Vegetation
  • Approximately 0.85 acres of forest vegetation will be removed.
  • Wildlife Habitats
  • The property does not contain critical wildlife habitats.
  • Scenic and Historic Features

To the best of our knowledge, no scenic or historic features exist onsite.

k. Air Quality

Decreased air quality because of air-borne dust associated with the proposed construction activities is a projected short-term impact. Additionally, significant increase in traffic is not anticipated after construction, nor is long-term degradation of air quality as a result of an increase in traffic levels. However, short-term degradation of air quality is anticipated as a result of construction. Methods to control soil erosion and sediment control will be implemented in order to minimize air quality degradation.

Increased traffic volume could potentially impact ambient air quality. Air quality impacts typically arise from traffic delays. No delays entering or exiting the site are anticipated. The proposed project by itself is not anticipated to result in a significant impact on ambient air quality.

1. Noise

Projected noise levels, as a result of the proposed development, is not anticipated to increase ambient noise levels above NJDEP standards as described in Section 2.10. The noise levels during construction will be temporarily increased but are subject to regulatory constraints such as maximum noise levels and permissible
