WHEREAS, it is now the desire of this Township Council to act upon the recommendation of the Purchasing Agent.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean State of New Jersey, as follows:

  1. The bid received for the purchase of a Ford Transit 250 vehicle for the Recreation Department is hereby rejected pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2(b).
  2. Copies of this resolution to Township Administrator, Chief Financial Officer, Purchasing Agent, Sands Ford of Red Hill and any other interested parties.

MAYOR REINA- thanked everyone for attending the meeting and relying on the truth and actual facts. These meetings are the method of communication and knowledge for our community. Have a great evening and drive safely.

PUBLIC COMMENT, ANY TOPIC

SCHLEGMAN KLEIN- since the previous meeting a mass email was submitted to the Jewish community. The email indicates that Mr. Klein should be killed as he spoke publicly at the last council meeting. Since the Agudath of Israel filed a lawsuit against Jackson Township, the Orthodox community has not communicated or attended any council meetings. The reason for the decrease in communication is Agudath of Israel and the developers behind have accused Jackson of being Anti-Semitic. If communication occurs between the communities it may change the Anti-Semitic label. The Orthodox Jewish community is afraid to speak due to the consequences that may experience. Many
