Impact of allocation sites
As there is not an existing designation there is not an impact as such, however the development of WHE027 (Whetstone Pastures), and with consideration to COU042, COU046 and COU047 would result in relatively limited area between the settlements.
It is considered that an Area of Separation designation in this location may be appropriate to prevent merging of the settlements as a result of additional future development, and to safeguard the character and identity of the settlements.
Cumulative Impact of Proposed Sites in Parcel:
Not applicable as such however the development of the allocation sites would reduce the space between the settlements.
