BLA031/034/039/40, although it is acknowledged this is a Reserve site only. The land in this area is predominantly open and the majority is safeguarded from development by the River Sence and associated floodplain. This would help prevent the merging of settlements and contribute to Purpose 1 (Prevent the Merging of Settlements). The Grand Union Canal and The Mill Lane could constitute defensible boundaries contributing to Purpose 2 (Guiding Development Form).
