1.1 This Appendix details the Local Plan proposed allocation sites and gives an overview of their potential impacts upon the Green Wedges. It is important to note the sites shown are a snapshot in time (as at November 2025) and selection is subject to change through the local plan process. This appendix does not itself make allocations, which are made through the local plan, and are considered alongside multiple factors and different types of evidence.

1.2 The allocation sites included in this appendix are those for housing and employment development. Scoring of a parcel is based on how the parcel would be expected to perform following development (should it take place). The cumulative effect of these sites is considered in assessing their impacts.

1.3 Sites proposed for allocation are assessed, as well as Reserve sites where applicable (candidate sites for allocation that have not ultimately been selected). In addition, the cumulative effect of these are considered (although it is acknowledged that not all sites may come forward).

1.4 To help ensure the Green Wedges respond to future development, potential directions of green wedge extensions are identified in this appendix. When considering potential areas for extension, areas should contribute to each of the four purposes, however they will also be considered in the context of the wider wedge, if for example recreation resources are located nearby in an adjacent parcel. Specific boundaries are not detailed as these will be dependent on final selection and site design information. The boundaries will be identified in a separate document to this report and confirmed on the adopted policies map in due course through the Local Plan process.

1.5 Sites that have the benefit of planning permission (as listed in Appendix C) are considered in this appendix in the context of potential extensions to green wedges to aid with consideration of this matter. The impact of these sites on the wedges themselves has already been included as part of the detailed parcel assessments in Appendix A.
