Question 3D. Do any assets within the land connect to other infrastructure in other areas and help form a continuous green lung from the countryside into urban areas? Answer 3D: Yes. The Rothley Brook corridor provides a continuous link from the countryside in the North (Charnwood Borough) through to Green Wedge (d) to the South. It is accessible from various points in the urban area. Millenium Green and Jubilee Wood are also located at or near the edge of the wedge on the fringe of the urban area. The open and undeveloped areas are relatively continuous and the established trees and hedge lines provide a network extending into the built-up areas to the east. The west edge of the parcel connects to the Green Wedge in Hinckley and Bosworth, although the A46 forms a solid intervening feature between assets. The wedge provides a green network link from the countryside to the north (in Charnwood Borough) through into Green Wedge (d) to the south. Rothley Brook and the surrounding
