  • Guide development form Question 2A. Does the land form defensible boundaries along its edges that defines or would influence the pattern of development or is there an alternative? Answer 2A: Desford Road provides a relatively uniform and consistent boundary between the vehicular storage premises and housing development under construction to the West and Easten parts of the parcel respectively. Rothley Brook forms the northern edge of the wedge and effectively restricts development from this direction with its associated Flood Zones. The west edge of the wedge does not have an identifiable defensible boundary however this is where it connects to the open countryside so development from this direction is unlikely. To the northeast is the continuation of the wedge towards Parcel A.
