WHEREAS, a public health, safety and welfare issue was determined to exist on Block 18502 Lot 30, 856 Bowman Road requiring the structure to be boarded up; and
WHEREAS, the responsible parties did not perform the work necessary to alleviate the continuing public nuisance. To provide for public health and safety the Township needed to abate the issue and now must bill the property for costs incurred by the Municipality; and
WHEREAS, the Municipality has generated an invoice in the amount $1,422.20 detailing the costs involved with the boarding up.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Township Committee of the Township of Jackson, in the County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:
1. The Tax Collector is hereby directed to place an Added Lien Tax against Block 18502 Lot 30, 856 Bowman Road, in the amount of $1,422.20 which are the costs associated with the matter. The Lien will be billed against the February 1, 2016 quarter taxes and the Collector will send out a bill upon notification of passage of this resolution and allow a suitable amount of time consistent with tax billing for the payment of said amount without interest. At the expiration of that time, interest will accrue at the level established by resolution chargeable from February 1, 2016.

WHEREAS, Jackson Acres, LLC t/a Jackson Acres Mobile Home Park has requested a renewal of its Senior Citizens' Mobile Home Park License for Calendar Year 2016 for property located at 2 Lisa Lane So. (off Lakehurst Avenue), a/k/a/ Block 18603, Lot 17, Jackson Township; and
WHEREAS, per Chapter 280 of the Jackson Code, said applicant has submitted an application in proper form, paid the required fees and has received approval from various municipal departments and agencies.
