  • installing two midblock pedestrian crossings with signals at 14th Street and 17th Street
  • adding wide bike lane enhancements
  • constructing a new wide sidewalk
  • adding a 14-ft. wide paved emergency access connection from the FDOT District 7 Headquarters (McKinley Drive to 46th Street)

Construction activities are expected to begin late 2026.
