RESOLUTION NUMBER: 329R-22

TITLE: RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT TO ACTION UNIFORMS FOR POLICE UNIFORMS FOR THE TOWNSHIP FROM AUGUST 25, 2022 THROUGH AUGUST 24, 2023 WITH THE TOWNSHIP OPTION TO RENEW FOR A TWENTY-FOUR MONTH PERIOD

WHEREAS, on August 2, 2022, the Township of Jackson, opened and read bid proposals for Police Uniforms to be provided to the Jackson Township Police Department; and

WHEREAS, one (1) vendor submitted bids for the Police Uniforms in accordance with the bid specifications, and

WHEREAS, Action Uniforms submitted the lowest responsible bid for the required services, in accordance with the bid specifications as follows:

2-01 25-240-000-032 not to exceed $20,000

not to exceed $60,000 **contingent upon budget adoption

3-01-25-240-000-032

4-01-25-240-000-032 not to exceed $60,000 **contingent upon budget adoption

not to exceed $60,000 **contingent upon budget adoption

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Township of Jackson, in the County of Ocean, that Action Uniforms, be and is hereby awarded contract to provide police uniforms to the Jackson Police Department for the period of August 25, 2022 through August 24, 2023 with the option on the part of the Township to renew said contract for two additional years pending certification of funds by the Chief Financial officers, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds for this contract are available on the account number 2-01-25-240-000-032 in the amount of $20,000.00
