RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE PURCHASE OF 4 NEW 2023 FORD F250 PICK-UP TRUCKS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $252,276.00 FROM NIELSEN FORD OF MORRISTOWN INC.
WHEREAS, the Public Works has requested approval for the purchase 4 Ford F250 Pick-up Trucks from Nielsen Ford of Morristown, Inc.
WHEREAS, Nielsen Ford is on state contract, #23-Fleet-34922; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that sufficient funding exists and is available for this purpose, in account number C-04-55-843-000-329, C-04-55-843-000-629, and C-04-55-844-000-429, and;
WHEREAS, the Township Council has considered the Department of Public Works need for the above purchase; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, and State of New Jersey as follows:
- That the Township Council does hereby authorize the purchase of the above amount not to exceed $252,276.00 from Nielsen Ford of Morristown Inc., 170 Ridgedale Ave. Morristown NJ 07960, with a properly executed purchase order.
- A copy of this resolution shall be forwarded to Shawn Bolinsky and any other interested parties.
