- Additional pavement markings and traffic control devices should be added to ensure design circulation patterns are properly established.
- The plans should be revised to detail the proposed surfacing for the playground area to determine impacts to site runoff.
- Playground area fencing should be revised to indicate non-climbable.
- Safety fencing should be provided for the drainage basin with a locking gate.
- The plans shall be revised to remove all stormwater design from the landscaping plan sheet C601 and lighting plans sheet C601.
- Additional plantings around the stormwater basin should be added and include daffodil bulb plantings.
- As per 244-194(G)(1) all structures must be accessible by means of a driveway which shall be not less than 10 Feet wide and which shall have a center-line grade of not less than 0.5% and not greater than 10%. The exit driveway centerline grade exceeds 10%.
- Provide a narrative (table, routing data, etc.) addressing the DEP requirement to assess "Current" and "Projected/Future" Rainfall Events.
- Provide the results of an additional soil boring/test pit and permeability results in the area of the underground infiltration basin - only one (1) was provided.
- The Hantush Spreadsheets in Appendix G indicate a Kh value greater than 5 × R (the standard in the Coastal Plain). Provide a narrative justifying the value used or resubmit the spreadsheet using 5R.
- The detail labeled "Underground Basin- Plan View" on Sheet C801 shows the 12" Outlet Pipe as having a 12" diameter and an invert of 142.5, whereas it is shown on Sheet C-400 as having a diameter of 10" and an invert Elevation of 142.67.
- The "invert out" elevation out of the underground infiltration basin is shown on Sheets C801 and C400 as being 8: higher than the "invert in" elevation. The applicant should clarify if there is an inner baffle wall/outlet control device proposed inside the basin that would impound stormwater prior to outflow occurring. If this is the case, a detail should be added to the plan.
- Elevations for each storm event should be added to the "Underground basin - Section View" detail on Sheet C801.
- All storm sewer piping should be specified at 15" diameter, minimum.
