# Producer Committee Conference Call Meeting December 17, 2025 – 9:00 AM MDOL, Helena, Montana

### I. Call to Order

Committee Chair, Nelson Kamerman, called the meeting to order at 9:07 a.m.

### II. Approval of Minutes: October 29, 2025

John Waldner moved to accept the minutes of October 29, 2025, as written, Sam Hofer seconded the motion. All members present voted in favor. Motion carried.

### I. New Business

1. Dave Lewis, Big Creek Dairy, requested to transfer quota in the amount of 72,585 lbs/day to Leep Dairy. With the mandatory 10% reduction, total quota to be transferred is 65,327 lbs/day. A motion was made by Gary Wurz to approve the transfer. John Waldner seconded the motion. Majority of members present voted in favor with Shane Leep abstaining. Motion carried.

2. Dave Lewis, Big Creek Dairy, additionally requested a transfer quota in the amount of 44,684 lbs/day to Dairyland Farms Inc. With the mandatory 10% reduction the total quota to be transferred is 40,216 lbs/day. A motion was made by Sam Hofer to approve the transfer. Shane Leep seconded the motion. Majority of member presented voted in favor with Nelson Kammerman abstaining. Motion carried.

### III. Roll Call

Roll call was overlooked at the beginning of the meeting but was called before adjourning for an official record. At the request of Chairman Kamerman, Kelly Calnan called roll.

### II. Other New Business

Kelly Calnan, Milk Control Program, thanked the current committee for their service. The newly elected members will take over on January 1, 2026. Notifications will go out to the new members will go out next week

Sam Hofer moved to adjourn. John Waldner seconded the motion. All members present voted in favor. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 9:21 a.m.
