STATEMENT OF INTENT

Hastoe's Group Health and Safety Policy is designed to promote and maintain high standards of health and safety within the Group which will protect the health, safety and welfare of all of our employees and other persons who may be affected by the Group's undertaking. Such persons will include residents, contractors, members of the public and visitors.

The Group will provide information, instruction, training and supervision to employees in relation to the nature of their work.

The health and safety culture we aim to promote throughout the Group relies on all involved to implement this policy according to their own duties.

Hastoe reminds all employees that they have a responsibility for their own health and safety and the safety of any other persons who may be affected by their activities under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.

Employees should inform their Line Manager of any health and safety issue with which they are concerned and implement the arrangements set out within the Group's Health and Safety Policy. Any wilful disregard for health, safety and welfare within the workplace may lead to disciplinary action.

The Board, the Chief Executive and the Housing Director for Hastoe will undertake regular reviews of our Health and Safety Policy and the way in which it has been implemented within the Group to ensure that high standards of health and safety are constantly maintained and improved upon as required.
