What have we done so far?
- Influenced the Devon County Council Equality Impact Assessment requirement for consideration of rural isolation, access to services and transport, digital access & social connectivity. Also the NHS Devon Quality & Equality Impact assessment inclusion of “Rural or Coastal Deprivation”
- Initiated and influenced the development of the Devon Public Health Rural Composite Exclusion Risk Indices Dashboard (CERI)
- Contributed to the Devon County Council Full Council Decision Feb 2026: One Door for Devon to support the Cost of Living within Rural and Coastal Communities including the recommendation to consider opportunities to ‘rural proof’ future & opportunities to consider rural impacts within future decision-making and policy development
