Influenced the Devon County Council Equality Impact Assessment requirement for consideration of rural isolation, access to services and transport, digital access & social connectivity. Also the NHS Devon Quality & Equality Impact assessment inclusion of “Rural or Coastal Deprivation”

Initiated and influenced the development of the Devon Public Health Rural Composite Exclusion Risk Indices Dashboard (CERI)

Contributed to the Devon County Council Full Council Decision Feb 2026: One Door for Devon to support the Cost of Living within Rural and Coastal Communities including the recommendation to consider opportunities to ‘rural proof’ future & opportunities to consider rural impacts within future decision-making and policy development
