RESOLUTION 159R-18 TITLE: APPROVE CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER’S REPORT FOR MONTH OF MARCH 2018

MOTION TO APPROVE BY: NIXON MOTION SECONDED BY: MARTIN YES: CALOGERO, MARTIN, UPDEGRAVE, NIXON, BRESSI

WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has submitted monthly reports; and

WHEREAS, the Township Clerk has submitted the reports to the Township Council for their approval.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:

1. The Chief Financial Officer’s monthly report for March 2018 is hereby approved.
2. Copies of this Resolution to Treasurer, Administrator, Township Attorney, and any other interested parties.

EUGENE DAVIS - 6 LLEWELLYN COURT- commented on the information provided by Council President Bressi on the Four Chaplains and discussed the process to become a Chaplain. Council President Bressi stated it's a very involved process to be nominated. Mr. Davis stated that he was a member and was accepted and encouraged residents to research the history of the Four Chaplains. Councilman President Bressi stated he is familiar with the history and it is very honorable to be nominated. Mr. Davis thanked Council President Bressi for discussing the history of Chaplains.

COUNCIL PRESIDENT BRESSI – stated since 2008 the salaries for the Mayor and the Council have remained the same.
