WHEREAS, the salary for the Mayor of Jackson Township for CY 2018 shall be as set forth on the attached Schedule A; and
WHEREAS, this salary is within the range set forth by the current applicable Salary Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, and State of New Jersey, as follows:
That the Township Council, does hereby approve of the salary for the Mayor of Jackson Township for CY 2018, in accordance with the Salary Ordinance, as set forth on the attached Schedule A.
That a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded to Administration, Personnel, Chief Financial Officer and the Mayor, Michael Reina.

TITLE: RESOLUTION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON ESTABLISHING THE SALARIES OF THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL FOR CY 2018
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Faulkner Act, N.J.S.A. 40A:9-165.1, the governing body of a municipality is authorized to determine the salary, wages or compensation of members of the governing body; and
WHEREAS, the salaries for the Township Council for CY 2018 shall be as set forth on the attached Schedule A; and
