COUNCIL UPDEGRAVE – echoed the comments made by Councilman Calogero and Councilman Martin. Thanked the Chaplains for their great service and for supporting our residents who may be in need.
COUNCILMAN VICE PRESIDENT NIXON – stated how spiritually and religious guidance is needed in our community and hope the Chaplains will serve our residents with support. We are blessed to have their guidance in our town.
COUNCIL PRESIDENT BRESSI – stated he has experienced Chaplains through the military and witnessed their accomplishments. Chaplains were requested for spiritual guidance in many different parts of the world and encouraged residents to research the “Four Chaplains”. He briefly referenced the story of the “Four Chaplains” and their support to Service Members. Chaplains in the military have a very unique function in supporting our Service Members and our newly appointed Chaplains will provide that to our community. Thankful of their service and the Mayor for their appointment.
