that those deviations will not substantially impair public good or are the requested variances so intense that there are no conditions which will sufficiently ensure the public good is not substantially injured by the granting of the approval, are there conditions that can be imposed which ensure the deviations from the conditional use requirements do not cause substantial impairment to the intent and purpose of the Master Plan. Mr. Martins said his point is that detriment to the public interest is still a key factor, besides everything else Ms. Cipriani said, and the public is going to let the Board know if there is a detriment to their interest. Mr. Alfieri said 3 neighbors is not the public and he disagrees. Ms. Cipriani said the public good is a critical part that needs to be considered and what they hear from the public is evidence that you can consider, it is not dispositive, but it is evidence that can be considered. Mr. Martins said he understands that it is the Board's responsibility to determine if it is in the public interest. Ms. Cipriani said it informs but does not dictate the public good.
