NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey, that the Maintenance Guarantee, which consists of Letter of Credit No. S040728 issued by Fulton Bank in the amount of $76,278.79 heretofore posted with the Township of Jackson is released on the condition that the applicant:
This resolution of release is further contingent upon the applicant/developer reimbursing the Township for any and all outstanding fees and charges as per Township ordinance for the release of said Maintenance Guarantee.
Copies of this resolution to Administration, Finance, Applicant/Developer and Township Engineer.
The Mayor and Township Clerk are authorized to sign or issue any appropriate documentation to give effect to the within resolution.

WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson, as a contracting unit may, without advertising for bids, purchase any materials, supplies, services or equipment under any contract or contracts entered into by the NJ Division of Purchase and Property in the Department of the Treasury, for such materials, supplies, services or equipment pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-12; and
WHEREAS, purchases/services made utilizing state contracts meet the requirements of using a fair and open process; and
WHEREAS, the Township Council approved purchases/services from authorized State contract vendors on January 19, 2016 by way of Resolution No. 069R-16; and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Department is seeking approval to increase the amount previously approved for Blue Line Emergency Lighting, LLC (State Contract #T0106/81308 effective 5/01/16 through 4/30/17) from $5,000.00 to $55,000.00 as follows:
Approve the purchase of emergency lighting/ equipment to outfit four (4) new 2017 Ford Police Interceptor Utility Vehicles @ $11,097.45/each = $44,389.80
Anticipated future equipment purchases
= 10,610.20
TOTAL = 55,000.00

WHEREAS, it is now the desire of this Township Council to approve the request of the Purchasing Agent and authorize the above purchase in the amount of $44,389.80 with a properly executed purchase order.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey does hereby approve an increase to the amount previously established for Blue Line Emergency Lighting (from $5,000.00 to $55,000.00).
