WHEREAS, the Mayor desires to fill said vacancy on this board; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey, as follows:

  1. 1. The Township Council hereby consents and approves the appointment of the following individual to the Apartment and Mobile Home Park Rent Leveling Board:

TITLE: AUTHORIZE THE ALLOCATION OF $55,492.50 TO THE JACKSON TOWNSHIP DEPARTMENT OF RECREATION FOR THE PURCHASE AND SALE OF TICKETS TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC FOR GREAT ADVENTURE CY 2016

WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson Department of Recreation provides a service to the public by selling tickets to Great Adventure; and

WHEREAS, the Department of Recreation has requested an allocation of $55,492.50, which it will be used to purchase tickets (750 tickets @ $73.99/each) from Great Adventure, this money will be paid back to the Township through ticket sales; and

WHEREAS, the Township will only be obligated to Great Adventure for the amount of tickets actually sold, if any tickets remain after the close of the season, they will be returned to Great Adventure and the Township will not be responsible for payment; and

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the governing body to authorize the allocation of $55,492.50 to the Department of Recreation for the purchase of Great Adventure tickets for resale to the general public.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:
