# TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON RESOLUTION 15-2026
## APPOINTING TOWNSHIP CLERK AS SUBDIVISION CERTIFICATION OFFICER
WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40:55D-56 provides for the appointment of a municipal official who is authorized to certify whether or not a subdivision has been validly approved; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Township Council to fill said position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey as follows:
1. That pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:69A-36, the Township Council does hereby appoint the Township Clerk, as Subdivision Certification Officer and is hereby designated for the period commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2026 as the Municipal Official who shall make and issue such certificates certifying subdivision approval and she shall act in accordance with and pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-56.
2. Appointee shall serve without compensation.
3. Certified copies of this resolution to Zoning Officer, Appointee and any other interested parties.
