AUTHORIZE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON AND CLEAR SPAN WHEREBY INCREASING THE CONTRACT AMOUNT BY $37,897.92, RESULTING IN AN ADJUSTED CONTRACT PRICE IN THE AMOUNT OF $102,209.71
WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson previously awarded a contract to Clear Span via Sourcewell Contract #071223-CSS; for the construction of a new roof at the DPW Complex in the amount of $64,311.79 Resolution 252-2025 dated July 22, 2025.; and
WHEREAS, the Administration has recommended the approval of Change Order No. 1 increasing the contract by $37,897.92; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey, as follows:
That the Township Council hereby formally approves and authorizes Change Order No. 1 to the contract between the Township of Jackson and Clear Span, increasing the contract by $37,897.92 for additional materials, resulting in an adjusted contract price in the amount of $102,209.71 charged to account number C-04-55-835-002-929;
That upon the adoption of the within resolution, the Township Clerk is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of it to Township Recreation, Purchasing, and Finance.
