## TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON RESOLUTION 279-2025
## ASSIGNING A PROJECT TO TOWNSHIP ENGINEERS T&M ASSOCIATES FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ASSOCIATED WITH CAMP JOY SOFTBALL FIELD IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the Township Recreation Committee is looking to reorientate and expand the limits of the existing fields to include a new Adult Slow Pitch Field with 300' outfield/fence and one regulation Fastpitch field with 200-225' outfield/fence.; and
WHEREAS, after a fair and open process, T&M Associates was appointed as Township Engineer to provide engineering services during 2025 and has provided a proposal for Conceptual Design Services for the Camp Joy Softball Field Improvements, which proposal is dated August 19, 2025, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as Schedule A.; and
WHEREAS, T&M Associates has the ability and knowledge to perform those services required and necessary by the Township; and
WHEREAS, the Township desires to assign the required engineering services project to T&M Associates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. That T&M Associates is hereby assigned to perform Conceptual Design Services associated with the Camp Joy Softball Field Improvements in an amount not to exceed $19,000.00, in accordance with the T&M Associates correspondence dated August 19, 2025, attached hereto and made a part hereof as Schedule A.
2. That a certificate of availability of funds executed by the Chief Financial Officer is annexed hereto. The following are the line-item appropriations or ordinances which constitute the availability of funds for this contract: T-19-56-861-000-819.
3. That this resolution shall take effect immediately.
4. That a certified copy of this resolution shall be provided by the Township Clerk to the Chief Financial Officer and T&M Associates.
