===== PAGE 1 ===== # TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON RESOLUTION 265-2025 ## RESOLUTION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON, COUNTY OF OCEAN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF GCC G3 LICENSES AND ASSOCIATED SERVICES INCLUDING ELECTRONIC DISTRIBUTION THROUGH THE EDUCATIONAL SERVICES COMMISSION OF NEW JERSEY PURCHASING COOPERATIVE PROGRAM WHEREAS, the IT Department has a need for the provision of 365 GCC G3 licenses and associated services; and WHEREAS, such licenses and services are available from CDW-G through the ESCNJ Cooperative, ESCNJ/AEPA-22G; and WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2(b)(3) authorizes the Township to make purchases and contract for services through the use of a nationally-recognizedized and accepted cooperative purchasing agreement that has been developed utilizing a competitive bidding process and the Township has determined that the use of the cooperative purchasing agreement shall result in cost savings after all factors, including charges for service, material, and delivery, have been considered; and WHEREAS, in accordance with New Jersey Play to Pay law, the National Cooperative pricing system contract meets the “Fair and Open” process requirements, WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that sufficient funding exists and is available for this purpose, in account number 5-01-20-110-000-029 $40,740.000 & 5-01-20-140-000-029 $35,843.50; and WHEREAS, the Township Council has considered the Department of IT need for the above purchase; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, and State of New Jersey as follows: 1. That the Township Council does hereby award a contract for 365 GCC G3 licenses and associated services; and to CDW-G through the ESCNJ Cooperative, ESCNJ/AEPA-22G in the amount of $76,583.50. 2. That the Mayor and Municipal Clerk are hereby authorized to execute and attest to, respectively, an agreement in accordance with the provisions of this resolution. 3. That a Certificate of Availability of Funds executed by the Chief Financial Officer is annexed hereto ===== PAGE 2 ===== 4.
