# TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON RESOLUTION 264-2025

## RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING T&M ASSOCIATES TO PREPARE PRELIMINARY AND DETAILED DESIGNS, CREATE BID SPECIFICATIONS, AND SUPERVISE CONTRACT AND CONSTRUCTION FOR ACCESSIBILITY IMPROVEMENTS FOR TOWNSHIP JUSTICE COMPLEX

WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson (“Township”) has received a proposal from the Township Engineer, i.e. T&M Associates, to improve accessibility for the Township’s Justice Complex; and

WHEREAS, prior to the installation of the accessibility features, T&M need to investigate the current structures of the Justice Complex, create a detailed design of the potential improvements, create a bid specification for the Township to utilize in competitive bidding, and supervise the contract and construction of the accessibility features to ensure the improvements are completed in a timely and proper manner; and

WHEREAS, the Township Engineer estimates the cost of full performance of the above-referenced work by T&M would be approximately $39,800.00; and

WHEREAS, the Township intends to fund this project utilizing the FY2021 through FY2024 Community Development Block Grants, which shall cover all of the aforementioned costs and potentially all construction costs for the improvements.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED this 12th day of August, 2025 by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey that the proposal to conduct the aforementioned work is hereby approved. The Mayor and/or his designee are authorized to execute any supplementary documentation as required in order to fulfill this project.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution shall be provided to the following:
