# TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON RESOLUTION 245-2025
APPROVAL TO SUBMIT A GRANT APPLICATION AND EXECUTE THE GRANT CONTRACT WITH THE NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE FY2026 NJDOT MUNICIPAL AID IMPROVEMENTS TO LAKEHURST AVENUE – PHASE I ROADWAY PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson wishes to apply to the New Jersey Department of Transportation for certain grant funds; and
WHEREAS, these funds would assist the Township in completing various improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED this 8th day of July, 2025 by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey that Council of Jackson Township formally approves the grant application for the above stated project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Township Engineer, Clerk and Certified Financial Officer are hereby authorized to submit an electronic grant application identified as “MA-2026-Lakehurst Avenue - Phase I-00625”, to the New Jersey Department of Transportation on behalf of Jackson Township.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Township Engineer, Clerk and Certified Financial Officer are hereby authorized to sign the grant agreement on behalf of Jackson Township and that their signature constitutes acceptance of the term and conditions of the grant agreement and approves the execution of the grant agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution shall be provided to the following:
1. Michael Reina, Mayor
2. Sandra Martin, RMC, CMR, Municipal Clerk
3. Stephanie Marlin, CFO
4. Gregory P. McGuckin, Township Attorney
