TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON RESOLUTION 240-2025

RESOLUTION OF THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON, COUNTY OF OCEAN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY AUTHORIZING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN ICS INTRAFI INSURED CASH SWEEP ACCOUNT WITH PROVIDENT BANK

WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson has previously included Provident Bank within its cash management plan; and

WHEREAS, the Township wishes to transfer certain accounts held by the municipality to Provident Bank in order to obtain more favorable interest rates; and

WHEREAS, the Affordable Housing Third Round Account would be the first account to be deposited with Provident Bank; and

WHEREAS, the signers on this account shall be any two (2) of the four (4) individuals identified the Townships cash management plan including the following:

1. Mayor Michael Reina
2. Jennifer Kuhn, Council President
3. Stephanie Marlin, CFO
4. Lavon Phillips, Business Administrator.
5. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED this 8th day of July, 2025 by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:
1. The Council hereby authorizes the transfer of the Townships Affordable Housing Third Round bank account to be deposited with Provident Bank.
2. The Mayor, Township Clerk and such other Township officials as may be deemed necessary are hereby authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to implement the intent of this Resolution as well as a letter of intent with respect to the deposits with Provident Bank.
3. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution shall be provided to the following:
1. Michael Reina, Mayor
2. Jennifer Kuhn, Council President
3. Stephanie Marlin, CFO
4. Lavon Phillips, Business Administrator
5. Provident Bank
