WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson has previously advertised for and received bids for the project entitled “Pitney Lane Traffic Calming Improvements”; and
WHEREAS, five (3) bids were received as follows:

WHEREAS, by letter dated June 10, 2025, the Township Engineer T&M Associates has recommended to the Township Council that the Township award the Base Bid and Alternate Bid "B" to the lowest responsive bidder, Straight Edge Striping in the amount of $82,074.00; and
WHEREAS, it appears the bid of Straight Edge Striping has been submitted in compliance with the bid specifications; and
WHEREAS, the Townships Chief Financial Officer has issued a Certificate of Available Funds from Current Fund C-04-55-846-000-029 in the amount not to exceed $82,074.00 which Certificate is attached hereto as Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the Township Council wishes to accept the recommendation of the Township Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:
