# TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON RESOLUTION 229-2025
# APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD PURSUANT TO SECTION 3-132 OF THE TOWNSHIP CODE
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3-132 of the Code of the Township of Jackson, there is established a Recreation Advisory Board, consisting of representatives from organizations that substantially utilize Township recreational facilities; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the Recreation Advisory Board is to provide guidance and input to the Township regarding recreational needs, facility use, programming, and related matters; and
WHEREAS, each member of the Recreation Advisory Board is appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Township Council, and shall serve without compensation; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended the following individuals for appointment to the Recreation Advisory Board, each representing an organization that substantially utilizes Township recreational facilities:
Shawn Bolinsky, Chairperson DPW Department Head
Jeffrey Henba, Co-Chairperson
William Materia Member
Keri Ricks Member
Edward Rogers Member
Hope Drew Member
Courtney Traeger
Jennifer L Kuhn Council Recreation Liaison
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The above-named individuals are hereby appointed to serve as members of the Township of Jackson Recreation Advisory Board, with each appointment to expire on December 31, 2025.
2. A certified copy of this Resolution shall be forwarded to the Township Administrator and to each appointee.
