ASSIGNING A PROJECT TO SPECIAL PROJECT ENGINEERS FRENCH & PARELLO ASSOCIATES TO PERFORM PROFESSIONAL SERVICES RELATED TO MONITORING TESTING OF FORMER LEGLER LANDFILL

WHEREAS, there exists a need for engineering services to assist the Township of Jackson in complying with NJDEP and EPA requirements for the former Legler Landfill.; and

WHEREAS, after a fair and open process, French & Parello Associates was appointed as Special Project Engineer to provide engineering services during 2025; and

WHEREAS, French & Parello Associates has the ability and knowledge to perform those services required and necessary by the Township; and

WHEREAS, the Township desires to assign the required engineering services project at issue to Special Project Engineer French & Parello Associates.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey, as follows:

1. That French & Parello Associates is hereby assigned to perform professional services related to monitoring testing of former Legler landfill in accordance with the French & Parello Associates correspondences specified herein:
2. a.January 23, 2025 proposal for 2025 Annual Monitoring and Reporting in the amount of $43,800.00, attached hereto and made a part hereof as Schedule A.
3. b.April 1, 2025 proposal for Pilot Testing and Air Sampling Support in the amount of $27,475.00; attached hereto and made a part hereof as Schedule B.
4. c.February 18, 2025 proposal for Post-Closure Evaluation Reporting in the amount of $8,250.00 attached hereto and made a part hereof as Schedule C.
2. That this resolution shall take effect immediately.
3. That a certified copy of this resolution shall be provided by the Township Clerk to the Chief Financial Officer, the Township Administrator, and French & Parello Associates.
