TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON RESOLUTION 141-2025 RESOLUTION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON TO REGULATE THE PICKUP AND DISCHARGE OF CHILDREN BY SCHOOL BUSES ON CERTAIN ROADWAYS

WHEREAS, this resolution has been approved by the Jackson Township Traffic Safety Bureau, requiring all buses operating within the township to comply with its regulations; and

WHEREAS, the passenger side of the bus and corresponding roadways edge are designated for pickup only; and

WHEREAS, all bus operators are required to meet with the Jackson Township Traffic Safety Bureau at least once per year to discuss traffic conditions and submit their busings schedules prior to August 1 of each calendar year; and

WHEREAS, this requirement applies to all buses transporting schoolchildren to public and private schools; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that all private and public buses traveling through Jackson Township must comply with these regulations to ensure the safety of all children being transported.

The following roadways are subject to these regulations:

1. Brewers Bridge Road (in its entirety)
2. Frank Applegate Road (in its entirety)
3. Bethel Church Road (in its entirety)
4. Hyson Road (in its entirety)
5. Grawtown Road (in its entirety)
6. Wright Debow Road (in its entirety)
7. Lakehurst Avenue (in its entirety)
8. West Pleasant Grove Road (in its entirety)
9. Manhattan Street (in its entirety)
10. East Veterans Highway
11. Cedar Swamp Rd.
12. West Veterans Highway
13. Bennetts Mills Road
14. West County Line Road
15. North County Line Road
16. Jackson Mills Road
17. South Hope Chapel Road
18. North Hope Chapel Road
