# TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON RESOLUTION 139-2025
## RESOLUTION CLOSING OUT THE CASH FUND IN THE CLERK'S OFFICE
WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40A:5-21 authorizes the establishment of a Cash Fund in any municipality by application and resolutions, and
WHEREAS, a petty cash fund of $100.00 had previously been established by Resolution for the use of the Township Clerk's Office; and
WHEREAS, the Township Clerk's office will no longer be accepting cash payments and has no ongoing need for a petty cash fund.
## THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, as follows:
1. That the $100.00 petty cash fund previously created for the Clerk's Office be closed out entirely.
2. That two copies of this resolution be filed with the Division of Local Government Services, New Jersey Department of Community Affairs for approval.
