RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE APPROVAL OF PAYMENTS OF CERTAIN BILLS BETWEEN MEETINGS

WHEREAS, all claims of payments by the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey, are to be first submitted to the Township Council for consideration before payment is made; and

WHEREAS, due to the nature of certain claims and the timing of meetings, certain claims should be paid when presented which are statutory and/or regular in nature, rather than held for the next Township Council Meeting.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:

The CFO is authorized to release payment of the following claims presented for payment and that thereafter said claim shall be listed on the Bill List to be approved by Township Council:

  • Township of Jackson Payroll
  • DCRP Contribution and GTL/LTD
  • Annual Employer Appropriation Bills (PERS, PFRS)
  • State of NJ Quarterly Unemployment
  • State of NJ Annual Catastrophic Illness Fund
  • Township of Jackson Board of Education Taxes
  • Ocean County Treasurer Taxes
  • Jackson Township Fire District Taxes
  • Health and Prescription Insurance
  • Utility Bills (Electric, Gas, Phone and any 3rd party bills relating to utilities))
  • Debt Service
  • Unsuccessful Bidders for Bond Sales (return of good faith deposits received via wire transfer)
  • Credit card fees through Recreation Programs

I hereby certify the foregoing to be true copy of a Resolution adopted by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, Ocean County, New Jersey at their regular meeting held on January 14, 2025.
