RESOLUTION TO APPOINT COUNCIL MEMBER, MORDECHAI BURNSTEIN, AS CLASS III MEMBER OF THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL TO THE JACKSON TOWNSHIP PLANNING BOARD

WHEREAS, pursuant to the Municipal Land Use Law, a representative from the Township Council shall serve on the Planning Board for a one year term commencing January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3, Section 150(A)(3) of the Administrative Code of the Township of Jackson, it is the desire of the Township Council to fill said position.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey as follows:

• 1. The following Township Council member is hereby appointed to the Planning Board for a term commencing January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025:

Class III – 1 year term - Township Council Member:

MORDECHAI BURNSTEIN

2. Appointee shall perform such duties and responsibilities as set forth by State Statute and the Municipal code of the Township of Jackson.
3. Appointees shall serve without compensation.
4. Certified copies of this resolution to the Municipal Administrator, Planning Board, Planning and Zoning Officer, Appointee and any other interested parties.
