RESOLUTION TO APPOINT MEMBERS AND ALTERNATE MEMBERS TO THE JACKSON TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL UTILITIES AUTHORITY

WHEREAS, certain vacancies will exist on the Jackson Township Municipal Utilities Authority as of February 1, 2024; and

WHEREAS, Chapter 3, Section 149 of the Administrative Code of the Township of Jackson provides for the appointment of members to the Jackson Township Municipal Utilities Authority for a term of five (5) years by the Township Council; and

WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Township Council to fill said vacancies.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:

1. Karen Bressi is hereby appointed as member to the Jackson Township Municipal Utilities Authority for a five (5) year term commencing February 1, 2025 and ending January 31, 2030.
2. Josh Vann is hereby appointed as Alternate Member I to the Jackson Township Municipal Utilities Authority to fill the unexpired term of Karen Bressi commencing February 1, 2025 and ending January 31, 2026.
3. Gregory Stafford-Smith is hereby appointed as Alternate Member II of the Jackson Township Municipal Utilities Authority to fill the unexpired term of Josh Vann commencing February 1, 2025 and ending January 31, 2029.
4. Appointees shall perform such duties and responsibilities as set forth by the State Statute and the Municipal Code of the Township of Jackson.
5. Certified copies of this Resolution to Municipal Administrator, Executive Director at the Jackson Township Municipal Utilities Authority, Appointee and any other interested parties.

I hereby certify the foregoing to be true copy of a Resolution adopted by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, Ocean County, New Jersey at their Re-organization meeting held on January 2, 2025.
