WHEREAS, the position of Public Agency Affirmative Action Contract Compliance Officer is vacant as of January 1, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the Township Council has been directed by the State of New Jersey, Affirmative Action Office, to appoint a Public Agency Contract Compliance Officer in accordance with P.L. 1975 c.127; and
WHEREAS, the Township Council is desirous of filling such vacancy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey as follows:
That pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:69A-36, the Township Council does hereby appoint Jasmine Powell to the position of Affirmative Action Contract Compliance Officer commencing January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025.
Appointee shall receive such compensation as set forth by the annual salary ordinance.
Certified copies of this resolution to Municipal Administrator, Finance Department, Jasmine Powell, and any other interested parties.
I hereby certify the foregoing to be true copy of a Resolution adopted by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, Ocean County, New Jersey at their Re-organization meeting held on January 2, 2025.
