R20-25 RESOLUTION TO APPOINT THE TOWNSHIP CLERK AS ASSESSMENT SEARCH OFFICER

WHEREAS, the position of Assessment Search Officer is vacant as of January 1, 2025; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary that a government official be designated as Assessment Search Officer for the period commencing January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2025, and

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Township Council to fill said position.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey as follows:

1. That pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:69A-36, the Township Council does hereby appoint the Township Clerk, as the person so designated to issue “Certificate as to the Liability of Assessment for Municipal Improvements” for the Township of Jackson in accordance with Chapter 269, Supplement to R.S. 54-4:11.
2. Certified copies of this resolution to Township Business Administrator, appointee and any other interested parties.

I hereby certify the foregoing to be true copy of a Resolution adopted by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, Ocean County, New Jersey at their Re-organization meeting held on January 2, 2025.
