RESOLUTION TO APPOINT TOWNSHIP CLERK, TO PERFORM MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS, RE: A.B.C. LICENSES FOR THE PERIOD COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 2025 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2025

WHEREAS, the position of performing ministerial functions regarding ABC licensing is vacant as of January 1, 2025; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary that a government official be designated to oversee this function commencing January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2025; and

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Township Council to fill said position.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey as follows:

1. Township Clerk of the Township of Jackson is hereby appointed for a period commencing January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2025 to perform all ministerial functions with regard to application and granting of liquor licenses in the Township of Jackson and that he/she makes all necessary investigations and recommendations to the Township Council with regard to said applications and issuances of licenses and that all complaints be referred to her for report and investigation.
2. Appointee shall serve without compensation.
3. Certified copies of this resolution to Municipal Administrator, Chief of Police, Alcohol Beverage Control Commission, Appointee and any other interested parties.

I hereby certify the foregoing to be true copy of a Resolution adopted by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, Ocean County, New Jersey at their Re-organization meeting held on January 2, 2025.
